I can remember the days raiding my parents liquor cabinet and being disgusted by the scent of their Beefeater Gin. But thankfully over time and a refined palette, I really love a great Gin cocktail now. Over the weekend, after the little one was put to bed, I foraged a few easy ingredients and made myself a delicious concoction. There are some great gins on the market these days and The Botanist happens to be one of my favorites (and it is at a great price point too).
An easy at home Gin Cocktail
- 3/4 parts St-Germain
- 1/4 part Aperol
- 1 part Gin
- 1/4 part fresh orange juice (I subbed in Simply Orange)
- top with club soda
Shake the first 4 ingredients with ice and strain into a martini glass. Top with club soda and garnish if you like with an orange peel.
Enjoy!
